Job Description :
As a Lead it is imperative that the leadership team remain engaged, focused, and committed to the success of the operation. To help ensure all objectives and goals are properly aligned and the operation is poised for success, the following expectations have been communicated and agreed upon :
Lead Role :
- Effective use of systems including but not limited to checking emails and responding to items impacting you and your area, AS400, Access Databases, RF unit, etc., to facilitate necessary people movement based on needs of operation.
- Communicates well with other leads and employees.
- Address issues effectively and immediately and do not avoid them as they arise.
- Reinforce leadership team’s mission and objectives when out on the floor.
- Assisting the Operations Manager, supervisors and department leaders in the training and development of all warehouse associates
- Using current training methods as well as creating and implementing new processes as needed
- Train individuals in picking, packing, and replenishment functions
- Monitor employee performance to determine areas of improvement. Create and implement training steps as needed.

Engagement : including self-development, site committees, workplace / area improvements, cross- training, community engagement and outreach programs and any other value-added workplace activities
ILEAD Competencies – These may be customized based on the individual and their participation with an IDP and desired improvements.
Quality : Assist the operation with achieving DPMO goals by achieving personal expectations as well as respective team goals.
Shift Details : Sunday - Thursday (Sunday 5 : 30 PM Start- Until Completion, Monday to Thursday 6 : 00 PM Start – Until Completion)
