About the Role

Join McKesson as an Operations Supervisor and become a crucial part of our mission to deliver essential healthcare products efficiently. This role is at the heart of our distribution center, where you'll ensure seamless operations, lead a dedicated team, and contribute to life-saving work. You'll collaborate closely with other departments, reporting to senior management while fostering a productive and high-morale environment.

Schedule: Week A: Thursday-Friday 5:45am-615pm Saturday: 6am-430pm Week B: Wednesday 6am-430pm Thursday-Friday 5:45am-615pm Saturday: 6am-430pm

What You’ll Do

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing warehouse activities for successful mid-shift operations.
• Lead and develop team members, maintaining high morale and work standards.
• Train and manage team performance, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Control expenses and manage budgets effectively to minimize overtime.
• Ensure exceptional housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Proactively address root causes of operational issues and enhance process improvements.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet company goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Typically required a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to engage and develop employees.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Preferred experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Skilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline, and record-keeping.
• Focus on quality and process improvement with experience in warehouse management systems; RF environment and labor management systems experience are a plus.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.

Physical Requirements

• Must thrive in a high-energy distribution center environment with occasional overtime.
• May be required to perform job duties that require going into the freezer at times.
