Sr. Director, CP&H Pricing

Current Need Currently looking for a Sr. Director responsible for pricing and profitability assessment within the Community Pharmacy & Health independent retail segment of the PSaS business unit. Individual will be responsible for managing customer pricing and profitability models and providing oversight on segment related initiatives such as generics pricing and volume expansion and other value-added services. He / She will work closely with the sales organization in reviewing and responding to customer RFPs and RFI’s, drafting term sheets and working through negotiations of key economic terms and conditions of the supply agreement, and in coordinating with the back-office operations on implementing customer contracts. This role will also be responsible for monitoring customer profitability and collaborating with sales teams to optimize the value of our key customer relationships. Position Description Provide periodic executive briefings on the trends at the segment level and comment on competitor strategies. Manage team and provide mentorship, guidance and career development opportunities. Act as Pricing representative in sales meetings. Meet regularly with segment SVPs, VP Finance and Pharma CFO to influence decision making and ensure business objectives are met. Develop price management framework and process to optimize value of each customer relationship. Collaborate with Gx team, sales team and other internal teams to work to increase transparency around and improve customer profitability. Drive and support ERP and Business Intelligence initiatives. Act as subject matter expert to set business specifications and communicate requirements. Develop and maintain working relationships and leadership role with Finance professionals across Pharma organization, including Sales, McKesson Financial Center, Procurement and Generics to ensure communication of and action on significant events within the business.Expand knowledge of Pharma operations through this dialogue in order to make recommendations and share information across the business. Minimum Requirements 10 years finance experience including 7 years managerial experience Critical Skills Bachelor’s degree Strong financial analytics and data modeling experience Proven success in building effective business partnerships at the senior level Strong ability to influence and provide strategic recommendations to senior level executives Strong critical thinking skills with ability to challenge conventional approaches and offer alternative solutions Demonstrated success with leading teams in delivering metrics and results Prior experience initiating and managing multiple projects and competing priorities within a matrix environment Prior change management experience with success in leading teams and/or departments Additional Knowledge & Skills Strong negotiation skills Strong ability to work well under pressure and navigate through a fast pace environment Advanced knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems Experience in business-to-business pricing; pharmaceutical industry experience a plus Strong time management skills Education MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience McKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
