YOUR DAY-DAY WILL INCLUDE:
- Data acquisition using multibeam, singlebeam, sidescan, mobile laser scanning, and sub-bottom.
- Survey planning and budgeting.
- Client communications and project reporting.
- Support data processing, analysis, reporting, and proposal writing.
- Teaching, training, managing and developing staff.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Minimum of 6 years of professional hydrographic experience.
- NSPS Hydrographer certification is preferred but not required.
- USCG Captain’s License is preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Ability to work in a team environment, self-manage, resourceful and manage others.
- Experience with data acquisition systems including: multibeam, singlebeam, sidescan, inertial navigation, sub-bottom profilers.
- Experience with industry standard software packages including: Hypack, Caris, QPS, POS Pac, ArcGIS, etc.
- Ability to perform field work including travel and weekends, and the physical ability to lift objects over 50lbs.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, cleared background check and negative drug test result.
- A commitment to seeing projects through to completion, a high attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude.
