YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE :
- Provides technical and design services for structural concrete, steel, concrete masonry and timber buildings and structures in support of water infrastructure projects (i.e. water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and wastewater collection / pumping).
- Responsibilities include : calculations to support structural engineering analyses for foundation, floor and roof framing assemblies to support various process and equipment layouts, prepare various types of technical memorandums and reports, produce design drawings, prepare technical specifications, and estimate construction cost estimates.
- Must be able to work as part of a project team and coordinate / schedule work with other team members including structural engineers and other discipline leads.
- Responsible for various tasks on several concurrent projects and independently manage these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned.
