Our client, a CPG company, is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join the team full-time. The Copywriter will play a key role in evolving the brand voice and bringing it to life across a broad range of channels. They will help create meaningful connections with the consumers across platforms through the development of original content that educates, supports, and inspires.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Craft on-brand, engaging copy across multiple channels to include website, email, e-commerce product descriptions, advertising, social media, packaging, promotions, blogs, and new product launches.
- Assist in the evolution of the brand voice to stay fresh, relevant, and engaging, expertly adapting copy to resonate on different channels while maintaining a consistent tone of voice.
- Collaborate with the brand and creative teams to create compelling, concise copy for campaigns, ensuring the seamless integration of visuals and copy.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the consumer journey in order to plan strategic content for engagement, education, and brand awareness.
- Create and edit written content for e-commerce, skillfully weaving in keywords to optimize for SEO and improve conversion.
- Assist in the management of the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and consistency of content across platforms.
- Assist in testing content performance and generating reports to analyze metrics for ongoing optimization.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact.
- Stay up to date on consumer and cultural trends and report findings and recommendations for improving relevance to team members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing or related field
- 3 years marketing experience
- Consumer packaged goods experience preferred
- Experience with B2C product communications preferred
