We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at McKinley Packaging Company. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic guidance and support to our manufacturing facilities in Santa Fe Springs and Cerritos, CA.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide human resources expertise to facility management, including interpretation and application of company policies.
- Support recruitment efforts, including interview preparation and onboarding processes.
- Manage employee relations, including counseling and conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and records, including I-9s, E-Verify, and required documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing, including paid time off, worked hours, and rate adjustments.
- Coordinate random drug testing, DOT testing, and maintain accurate records of physicals and driving records.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing HR role, with knowledge of Federal, State, and Local Labor Laws.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
