Security Access Control and Locksmith Dispatcher
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to fill the role of Security Access Control and Locksmith Dispatcher. This position involves coordinating and dispatching access control technicians and locksmiths to various locations in response to service requests related to access control and locksmithing needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize incoming service requests for access control and locksmith services.
- Coordinate with security personnel and locksmiths to schedule service appointments based on urgency and availability.
- Ensure timely response to emergency situations requiring immediate attention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on service requests and estimated arrival times.
- Communicate effectively with security personnel and locksmiths to relay pertinent information and ensure clear understanding of job requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, including details of services provided, client information, and technician assignments.
- Generate reports as needed to track service metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot issues related to access control systems and locksmithing services, providing guidance and support to clients and technicians as necessary.
- Collaborate with management to address any challenges or concerns that may arise during service delivery.
- Conduct follow-up calls with clients to ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancements and contribute to the development of best practices for access control and locksmithing procedures.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security management or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or security/locksmith operations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite and dispatch software.
- Knowledge of access control systems and locksmithing principles is advantageous.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
Working Conditions: This position typically operates in an office environment, with occasional fieldwork required to coordinate service requests on-site. The role may involve evening, weekend, or on-call shifts to accommodate client needs and emergency situations. The dispatcher should be prepared to handle stressful situations and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
