Job Responsibilities:
- Department Leadership: Oversee daily operations of the service department, managing schedules, selling service contracts, budgets, and team performance.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor service technicians and administrative staff.
- Customer Relations: Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and prompt communication.
- Project Coordination: Schedule and coordinate service calls, inspections, and maintenance projects to meet client expectations.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with safety regulations and industry’s best practices.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints and service issues effectively.
- Reporting: Track and report on department performance, including KPIs, budgets, and client feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, production, and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in leading a Team, roofing industry with a focus on service or management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve department goals.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of roofing systems, repair techniques, and industry standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management or CRM software is a plus.
- Certifications: [Optional] OSHA certification, relevant roofing certifications, or licenses are preferred.
