The Opportunity with McKinstry
We are adding a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to our growing Supply Chain Operations in Spokane, WA.
In this role, you will manage the Shipping and Receiving team and process and will also be accurately inspecting incoming freight and tracking what is stored in the warehouse. You will be the supervisor of warehouse team members who handle operating the equipment and handling the merchandise.
Some additional responsibilities include:
· Material Management:
o Material Receiving and Validating: Receiving, inspecting, and validating materials against BOMs; ensuring accuracy and quality.
o Inventory Management: Logging all incoming items into the inventory management system and keep statuses updated as material moves through the facility
· Site Coordination:
o Logistics Planning and Coordination: Collaborating with project managers and field teams to plan and schedule incoming and outgoing freight; handling transportation, storage, and delivery.
o Communication: Acting as the primary contact for site logistics and team support.
· Equipment Management
o Ensuring all equipment inspections are being performed and all equipment is in good working order.
o Fleet Management: Coordinating vehicle maintenance, tracking movements, and optimizing routes.
· Liaison Duties:
o Warehouse and Field Liaison: Facilitating communication and problem-solving between warehouse and field teams.
What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry
· 3-5 years relevant experience
· Be able to drive fleet vehicle
· Standard MS program knowledge and basic computer skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication abilities.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.

The pay range for this position is $55,800-$82,080 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
