## Overview
We are seeking experienced movers to be a part of the daily operations of our Moving Crew and warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in moving furniture, warehouse organization, logistics for large moves and a a lot of energy! We have a lot of fun when the crew is upbeat and has a positive mindset! This is a rapidly growing Staging company and there's room for growth as a pioneer on this expanding team.
## Responsibilities
- MOVING! MOVING! MOVING! You know how to properly handle furniture for daily moving. You know how to pack a moving truck efficiently and with minimal damage to furniture and accessories. We are a staging company so protecting our assets and the properties we stage are the uttermost important part of this job.
- Maintain the warehouse before and after loading for stages.
- You can AND LIKE to build furniture (with instructions)! We area constantly receiving shipments of new furniture and it all needs to get built. If we finish a stage early, you can earn more $$$ by taking care of our furniture and discarding associated trash. There are regular dump and recycle runs as part of this job.
- You hang art! We'll teach you, but this is a crucial skill that helps our designers move a stage more quickly if you can help with this.
- Maintain optimal preservation of furniture or rehabbing furniture that has become damaged-- You wrap everything and protect it like it's your own furniture!
- Utilize Stageforce-- our inventory management software to pick items for the day's stage and maintain Stageforce hygiene. Executing this with little to no assistance is the ultimate goal, but we will train you!
- You can drive a box truck! we rent 15' - 26' trucks regularly and occasionally you may be responsible for driving, re fueling and returning the Uhaul (on the company card).
- You can SHOP! On some "fun days" you'll push a cart through Target filled with throw pillows and decorations helping the designers pick out new inventory :)
- You MUST BE ON TIME! This is a big deal and repeat tardiness isn't tolerated. We are a small business and rely on our muscle to execute these big jobs.
## Skills
- Previous experience as a mover, preferably for a moving company, or another staging company is a HUGE bonus!
- Previous experience in warehouse organization/maintenance.
- TIME MANAGEMENT... we keep the pace fast!
- Knowledge of staging operations is a big bonus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with our designers and staff effectively.
- MUST BE A HARD WORKER AND LIKE TO ALWAYS BE MOVING. You will HATE this job if you don't want to be busy and work with your hands.
- A go-getter with a can-do attitude. We need a "what's next?" kind of person (vs. a "are we done yet"... ) :)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
