While we primarily operate in East Texas, we are exploring opportunities in the Midland-Odessa area. We recently completed two projects requiring additional work, and we’re looking for a skilled individual to assist in finishing these tasks. This role provides an opportunity to showcase your expertise with the potential for a future full-time leadership position.
Position Overview:
As a Metal Building Construction Foreman, you will:
- Assist with additional work on two recently completed projects.
- Demonstrate your skills in metal building construction, welding, and reading plans.
- Collaborate directly with a team member while ensuring project goals are met.
- Build strong relationships with customers and represent McKnight Construction’s professionalism.
This position offers an opportunity for growth into a full-time leadership role. A future permanent position includes a company work truck equipped with tools and the responsibility of managing a 3-4 person crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform metal building construction tasks, including welding and project modifications.
- Read and interpret construction plans accurately.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing their needs professionally.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Support team operations and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in metal building construction.
- Proficiency in welding.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading or managing a crew (preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
