We are seeking a Food & Nutrition Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing residents with a memorable dining experience.

- Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities
- Deliver prompt solutions for residents, families and staff
- Ensure residents receive orders accurate diets
- Collaborate with dieticians, chef and families to deliver nutritional menu options to adhere to resident diets
- Hire, Train & Manage service staff
- Plan, Coordinate, Train, Motivate, Monitor and Evaluate performance on employees
- Lead team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments
- Create and adjust staff schedules to meet needs
- Hold staff meetings on regular basis
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, planning, schedules, payroll, and supplies to ensure budget compliance
- Manage & Control department budget & expenses
- Establish and maintain high standards in food handling, serving, cleaning and sanitation
- Establish and follow standard operation procedures to maintain consistency in service preformed
- Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies
- Assist in facility inspections per regulations
- Qualifications:
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) is a plus
- ServSafe Certification
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft programs, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms
- Strong attention to detail
