GENERAL SUMMARY
MCL Construction, a premier general contractor, is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support job site operations in Omaha, NE. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, experienced in material handling or delivery, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
- Pick, stock, and manage inventory using the company system.
- Unload, clean, test, and restock returned equipment.
- Operate warehouse forklifts (training provided) and assist with material handling.
- Drive company vehicles to deliver/pick up materials and equipment (mostly Omaha metro, occasional day trips).
- Perform general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance.
- Follow all MCL safety directives and work in various weather conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or GED required
- A minimum of two or more years of experience driving a one-ton commercial vehicle and experience with towing a trailer
- Valid driver’s license required with a good driving record, CDL A Preferred
- Candidates need to be familiar with the Microsoft environment (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude required.
- Construction, mechanical, delivery, or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Physically capable of handling job demands.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, musculoskeletal screen, MVR and background check.
