Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This is a temporary, possible permit entry-level position. It is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, learning essential skills and techniques while contributing to various projects. Responsibilities

• Assist skilled carpenters in the installation of a variety of structures.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
• Participate in remodeling projects, including residential and commercial spaces.
• Help with masonry work as needed, ensuring quality craftsmanship.
• Read blueprints and project plans to understand specifications and requirements.
• Assemble various components as directed by lead carpenters.
• Support water damage restoration efforts by assisting in repairs and rebuilding.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience or coursework in carpentry or construction is required.
• Familiarity with cabinet installation, remodeling techniques, masonry, and blueprint reading is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred.
• A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills in the carpentry trade.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
