McLain & Merritt, PC, is looking for a full- time residential Pre-Closer with 3 or more years of experience. Our firm offers an enjoyable work environment, 401k, Health Insurance, paid vacation and sick days.
Responsibilities:
- Order title examinations, payoffs, HOA estoppel letters, utility bills and tax information
- Prepare title commitments and collaborate with the Attorney to resolve title issues.
- Input preliminary figures into Softpro system to create CD/settlement statements
- Calculate property taxes for newly constructed homes using county millage rates
- Maintain consistent communication with the assigned Closer and Attorney regarding the status of transaction
- Maintain an active real estate calendar
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of experience
- Familiar with standard closing practices and be able to hit the ground running
- Team oriented and customer service driven
- Proficient in Softpro Select
