What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Screed Operator position at McLain Site Solutions, Inc.?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asphalt Screed Operator to join our team in the field of underground sitework and utilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in asphalt.
Performing work activities relating to the spreading, finishing and compacting of asphalt for the resurfacing and repair of City residential streets and alleys, and performs related duties as required ESSENTIAL DUTIES. Duties including raking, smoothing and tamping relating to the pavement, re-surfacing and repair of streets and alleys using hot asphalt materials. Operating asphalt equipment, including grinders, pavers and rollers Observe work in progress and provides guidance and direction on work procedures and techniques to asphalt laborers Ensure the timely delivery of hot asphalt from contracted plant to work sites. Ensures safe work procedures and safe work practices are followed at work sites Ensures barricades and other safety equipment are set up and in place while work is in progress.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
