We are in search of an experienced Pipe Tail man to join our team. The Pipe Tail man will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring accurate measurements, precise cuts, and seamless welds. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine pipe specifications and layout.
- Measure, cut, and thread pipes to precise dimensions, following established procedures and safety protocols.
- Weld pipes and fittings together using various welding techniques, including stick, MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and integrity, ensuring they meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Install and assemble piping systems, including supports, brackets, and hangers, according to engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers, electricians, and equipment operators, to coordinate work and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing pipelines, including troubleshooting leaks, replacing damaged sections, and cleaning or clearing blockages.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients to ensure clarity of project goals, timelines, and expectations.
REQUIREMENTS:
