Job Details
The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process.
Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
Carries out functions according to hospital policy, the hospital mission, and standards of practice defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
Directs, coordinates and delegates activities in order to foster patient / family centered care.
Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment and professional development.
Job Requirements
3 Year of Experience - Required
Completion of 1 Travel Assignment - Required
Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
Schedule Information
Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
McLaren Macomb has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately.

Primarily ICU but can float to CVICU - Preferred
Dress Code : Navy Blue
EMR : Cerner
Ratio : ICU is 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 based on acuity / Step Down 1 : 3

References NOT required.
A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.
