Job Summary
A Cardiovascular Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
Job Responsibilities
- Works as a critical member of the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), caring for over 4000 cardiology patients annually.
- Participates in procedures including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers.
- Specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience required.
- Proficiency in Cardiac required.
- Travel is required.
- EKG comfortability is required.
- Must be willing to float to similar units.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses.
Schedule Information
A strict attendance policy advocates for the patient population. Any absent or late RN contractor will face termination after three strikes.
