Position Summary
The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for participating in hospital activities that directs customers, collects patient demographic and insurance information and processes that information via an internal computer system for collections and reimbursement.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :
1)Interprets patient / visitor requests for services.
2)Meets with patient / representative to obtain necessary registration / insurance information.
3)Verifies insurance for all Outpatient treatments and others as necessary.
5)Coordinates request for application of payment assistance.
6)Performs other related duties as assigned.
7)Reports equipment failure to designated repair source.
Qualifications : Required :
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
