Job Description: Vehicle Lot Attendant / Dealership Porter

Job Duties:

1. Lot Maintenance: Responsible for ensuring the dealership lot is organized, clean, and presentable at all times. You will arrange vehicles in an orderly manner, ensuring that they are easily accessible for both customers and sales staff.

2. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing vehicles to identify any damage, scratches, or mechanical issues. Report findings to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.

3. Washing and Detailing: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles by washing, waxing, and detailing both new and pre-owned cars. This attention to detail will contribute to the overall positive impression of our dealership.

4. Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients visiting the dealership. Assist customers with locating specific vehicles and answer general inquiries regarding our inventory.

5. Supporting Sales Team: Assist the sales team by ensuring that the lot is well-organized and vehicles are ready for test drives. Retrieve vehicles from the lot for potential buyers as requested.

6. Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory on the lot, including tracking the location and status of each vehicle. Collaborate with dealership staff to ensure an efficient flow of vehicles in and out of the lot.

7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while handling vehicles and equipment. Keep work areas clean and hazard-free.

8. Vehicle Transportation: Assist with moving vehicles between dealership locations or delivering vehicles to customers when necessary.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a drug test to ensure a safe and drug-free workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, including vehicles, as required.
