Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Boat Cleaning and Detailing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that boats are thoroughly cleaned, polished, and maintained to meet high standards of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Boat Exterior Cleaning:
• Wash and rinse hulls, decks, and exteriors using hoses, brushes, and appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Remove dirt, grime, algae, and salt deposits from boat surfaces.
• Boat Interior Cleaning:
• Vacuum carpets and upholstery, clean windows, and wipe down surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize compartments, galleys, heads (bathrooms), and storage areas.
• Detailing and Polishing:
• Apply wax or polish to restore shine and protect boat surfaces.
• Buff and remove scratches or scuffs using specialized equipment and compounds.
• Clean and protect metal, glass, and wood finishes.
• Inspection and Maintenance:
• Conduct visual inspections to identify potential issues such as cracks, rust, or mildew.
• Report any damages or maintenance needs to supervisors or management.
• Specialized Cleaning Tasks:
• Clean bilges, remove stains, and perform deep cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.
• Treat vinyl, leather, and other materials with appropriate care products.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with service teams to ensure boats are ready for delivery or display.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance:
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment.
• Dispose of waste and materials in compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in cleaning, detailing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Skills:
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and products for various boat materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
