We have an exciting opportunity for a Docking System Requirements and Verification to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .
If selected you will :
- Maintain existing and help create new requirement trace tools to manage compliance, flow down, and equivalency of program requirements to various provide and / or project requirements.
- Research program and project requirements to find docking related requirement flow down and equivalency.
- Analyze partner and provider requirements to assess conflicts, gaps, and adequate flow down and decomposition of the NASA program requirements.
- Preparation of variances, exceptions and / or waivers to NASA requirements.
- Assist in the planning, development, review, and maintenance of requirements and verification plans, products, and closures.
- Prepare materials for system life cycle milestones, including SRR (System Readiness Review), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Hardware Acceptance Reviews, and Flight Readiness Reviews.
- Track vendor submitted data, such as verification closure notices, and status of NASA's review.
- Compile interface requirement content for docking systems installed on vehicles as well as between docking vehicles and manage their implementation.
- Participate and / or lead working groups to resolve technical issues, requirement disconnects, facilitate changes, etc. - Work in a team environment and report to the team lead to provide status on progress and issues.
- Maintain a professional relationship with the NASA customer and other NASA support contractors.
- Perform other duties as required.
