We have an exciting opportunity for a Spacecraft Navigation Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .
If selected you will :
- Support development of navigation algorithms for an integrated GN&C system for NASA spacecraft
- Support testing and analysis of navigation algorithms in a 6-DOF GN&C environment
- Develop and apply custom data models and algorithms to data sets
- Utilize object-oriented software skills to efficiently utilize large data sets to perform verification and validation analyses of navigation flight software
- Utilize Hardware-in-the-Loop data to verify navigation flight software - Perform analyses in support of operational flight rule development
- Formally document the results of all design and analysis activities
- Perform other duties as required
