We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer for Gateway C&T Systems to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX .
If selected you will :
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Communications and Tracking Sub-Systems of the Gateway Level 2 Sub- Systems
- Assess design compliance of the Gateway Level 2 requirements to commercial providers
- Maintain and update Gateway Level 2 requirements including Verification Requirements and Interface Requirements Documents
- Track and maintain requirement documents on task schedule
- Support the Gateway verification activities including verification objectives and procedures, end to end testing development and reviewing Verification Completion Notices (VCNs)
- Develop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification / validation, operations, and sustaining engineering
- Conduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activities
- Review verification and validation reports to verify compliance with requirements
- Participate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviews
- Perform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performance
- Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment - Perform other duties as required
