Behavioral Health Urgent Care Counselor (Part-Time).
Behavioral Health Urgent Care Counselor (Part-Time).
Responsibilities:
- Work schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 5:00 P.M. – 1:00 A.M.
- Complete crisis assessments
- Provide brief onsite counseling
- Distribution of information on community resources to clients
- Develop collaborative working relationships with community agencies, homeless shelters, therapists, physicians, and law enforcement personnel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required, MHP required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience completing crisis assessments
- Knowledge of community resources
- One year of work or volunteer experience in behavioral health or crisis intervention
