Located in Bloomington IL our agency delivers Psychiatric, Recovery, and Emergency Crisis Intervention services in addition to the Counseling Program.

The CENTER for Human Services, a leading provider of behavioral health care services, is seeking a full-time Medical Records Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Process requests for clinical records
- Data Entry
- Conduct various file management activities (filing, organization, scanning, retention/destruction, etc.) for both electronic and paper client records
- Audit clinical records for adherence to applicable regulations
- Assist in data collection/recording related to other department activities
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of client confidentiality
- Experience with word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to plan, organize, and complete work of a detailed nature
- Experience working with electronic health records preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and related behavioral health privacy standards preferred
