What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Psychologist position at McLean Hospital?
"Staff Psychologist - Responsible for the clinical care of up to four patients and their families, and all collateral contact. Responsible for running up to three clinical groups per week, in conjunction with program needs. Closely work with other team members, including the Child Psychiatrist and the Clinical Educator. Supervisory responsibility over psychology trainees, including Practicum students, pre-Doctoral interns, and Post-Doctoral Fellows. Participate in the ongoing data collection and analysis of the unit and may have the opportunity to publish relevant papers. Within the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, serve as instructor in Psychology.
Requirements include a PhD degree from an APA accredited Clinical Psychology program or equivalent and one-year post-doctoral clinical work experience at in an Adolescent Acute Treatment Setting (e.g., inpatient, residential).
* Clinical work experience must include APA- accredited postdoctoral program specialization in Clinical Psychology.
* Must have completed a one-year APA accredited internship in Psychology.
* Must possess license issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Psychologists.
