The Role
POSITION PROFILE:
Serve as first point of contact for Sales at the McLemore Club. Perform complex administrative and sales activities in conjunction with the Sales team. Work with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients while developing and maintaining existing client relationships. Assist in the Stay and Play Program, Friends of McLemore, Events and Membership.
This is a part-time position that could lead into lead a full-time opportunity.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the McLemore Club sales office at all times; Monitor Phones, voicemails, sales mailbox – all with same day response time. Prepare collateral for site inspections, outside sales calls, and sales trips.
- Assist Director of Sales and team with the planning, coordination and organizing of special events and projects.
- Enter, coordinate and follow up with Sales Reservations as needed.
- Assist with guests and reservation lists as needed. Pull daily and weekly reports as directed. Take and distribute weekly Sales Meeting minutes and notes.
- Assist Director of Sales with Month End extraction and assimilation of data for reports.
- Respond and represent the sales team(s) when in the sales office.
- Communicate to both, guests and fellow associates, professionally and positively.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience: Golf or Hospitality experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide-range of information. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication that properly reflect the Foundation Image. Listen effectively. Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects and establishes priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives.
