What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Client Services Representative position at McLendon Veterinary Clinic?
Our three-doctor family owned clinic is recruiting for a full-time individual to assist in managing the inflow and outflow of patients while communicating with clients as they visit or call our office. Our fast-paced office sees many walk-in patients daily and needs someone who is able to effectively communicate with clients, other staff members, multi-task, adapt to many situations, and highly proficient in learning new computer software. As one of the few remaining privately owned small animal veterinary clinics in town we strive for a strong workplace culture with a focus on our core values. A healthy workplace also results in the best care for our patients. We have recently expanded and to better serve our clients and patients we need new long-term dedicated candidates to join our team. Prior veterinary office experience is preferred, but easily learned. Highly motivated individuals with excellent communications skills who are capable of self-study will be most suited for this position.
Pay $12-$20 per hour based on qualifications, pay raises are determined periodically based on performance
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma (required)
-Bachelor’s degree in business related or communications majors (preferred)
-Available between 7:00 and 5:30 pm/until close Monday through Friday and 7:00 am to 11:00 am/until close on Saturdays. Alternating weekend shifts required (overtime probable). One scheduled weekday off per week
Experience:
-Customer Service/Client communications or office administration (1 year)
-Veterinary Medicine field (1 year)
Required Skills:

-Comfortable around animals
-Excellent written and verbal communications
-Effective at reading and retaining protocols and processes
-Strong initiative in performing tasks correctly

(Experience in AvImark veterinary practice software preferred)
-Strong ethical boundaries
-Capable of multi-tasking under busy circumstances and prioritizing daily tasks
-Cleanliness and follows daily cleaning tasks

Salary: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
