We best serve our students, colleagues, and community when we work as a team.GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: Direct daily operations and activities of the High School Programs office. Assist with developing and maintaining relationships between the program and partner institutions as well as the community. Duties include advertising, promotion, and recruitment of High School Programs, assisting with schedule development, the coordination, planning, and marketing of High School Programs events, and the ongoing development and maintenance of new and current High School Programs and degree plans.

This position receives general direction from the Director of Educational Partnerships and exercises some supervision. NOTE: This is a security sensitive position and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Education: Masters degree from an accredited college or universityExperience: Two or more years of work experience in a student-facing position at an educational institutionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Work experience with a dual credit programSELECTION CRITERIA: The cover letter should address how the following knowledge, skills, and abilities were acquired: Knowledge of: 1. Organizational and managerial practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of instructional programs, policies, and organizational needs; 2. Modern and complex principles and practices of a dual credit program; 3.

Principles and practices of MCC and administration; 4. College procedures regarding admission standards and educational program requirements for community colleges and transfer institutions; 5. Pertinent Federal, State, and college laws, rules, and regulations; Skills in: 6. Utilizing computer software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office, InDesign, Datatel/Colleague, Adobe Acrobat; 7.

Communicating effectively both orally and in writing; Ability to: 8. Lead personnel effectively; 9. Interpret and apply federal and college policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; 10. Determine specific needs of students and provide appropriate support; 11.

Analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals; 12. Gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion; 13. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; 14. Effectively administer a variety of High School Programs education programs; 15.

Plan, market, and carry out special events and programs.WORKING CONDITIONS: Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activities. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.BENEFITS: Health Insurance, retirement plan, sick leave, vacation, holidays.
