McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently accepting applications for a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work and care for the patients at its Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program in Concord.
Clinic hours operate from Monday to Friday, 5 : 00 am - 12 : 30 pm, and Saturday, 6 : 00 am - 9 : 00 am.
How will you help us achieve our mission? You will :
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the OTP (Outpatient Treatment Program) setting.
- Administer medications to clients and ensure compliance with doctor-prescribed treatments and protocols.
- Maintain meticulous records and notes, documenting client interactions, treatments, and progress.
- Conduct thorough intake assessments with new clients, gathering essential information for personalized care.
- Obtain vital signs from clients and assist with physical examinations as needed or as ordered by the doctor.
What are the qualifications needed for this role? :
We're looking for someone who is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an LPN or holds a license with multi-state practice privileges by the authority of the Nurse Licensure Compact. Prior experience with SUD / MH population is preferred but not required.
