ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILTIES
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand long hours; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements in close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Walking/Standing Frequently (67-100%)
Reaching Occasionally (30-67%)
Lifting 10-25lbs Occasionally (30 - 67%)
Near/Close, color vision is required.
This position is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work is performed potentially in both an office and manufacturing setting.

A Screening Operator is responsible for producing a product within or above the Company's quality standards by setting up jobs and processing them in accordance with specific job instructions and standard operating procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Understand, use, and comply with work orders and work schedules
- Prepare the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for production.
- Make adjustments to processes to achieve high output and quality printing.
- Understand what causes printing variables and know how to control them.
- Understand the relationship between inks and substrates.
- Understand the curing/drying processes and their relationship to a given ink/substrate.
- Record required job documentation.
- Work with solvents and UV-Based inks.
- Able to use a US Puck to test bulb strength and record results on the work orders.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and free of hazards.
- Perform one’s own maintenance as required when instructed.
- Observe all safety rules and precautions, use protective products as required.
- Flexibility to be cross trained in other plant positions.
- Follow department job policies and procedures.
- May be asked to represent the department of Quality, Safety, and other committees.
- Perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
- A strong technical understanding of screen-printing and related functions
- Knowledge of equipment, materials and processes used in the manufacturing process.
- Strong blueprint reading and math skills, with the ability to use a calculator and measuring tools.
- Ability to prioritize and respond to projects based on urgency and need.
- A high school diploma/HSED/GED or a minimus of of three years work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
