McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking a talented and motivated associate attorney to work across multiple dynamic and related practice areas, including public finance and redevelopment. Work in the redevelopment practice area will include redevelopment and development projects and issues such as contract negotiation, project finance analytics, land use, affordable housing, municipal governance, state and federal tax incentives and complex structured financing. Work in the public finance practice area will include authorization, sale and issuance of municipal securities to fund capital projects, including representation of State and local government issuers, county improvement authorities, investment banks and trustee banks, among others. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience and be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Must have excellent drafting skills, outstanding analytical ability, including an interest in finance, and exceptional academic background. Candidates also should display a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility and regular client interaction and attendance at day and night meetings.
