Litigation Legal Assistant

Job Description: MS&B is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to provide a full range of support to multiple attorneys. Must have prior experience with litigation procedures, processes and e-filing. Experience with labor and employment, redevelopment, real estate or land use a plus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting, proofreading and revising legal documents, e-filing, redlining documents, scanning, saving and uploading documents to NetDocs, managing attorney calendars, coordinating meetings and scheduling calls, maintaining and organizing client files, processing time entries for attorneys, answering phones in a timely and polite manner and submitting expense reports. 

Requirements:

·        2 years’ recent experience supporting litigation attorneys

·        Experience with e-filing

·        Pacer Experience

·        Search and retrieve fillings from court databases

·        Excellent organizational skills

·        Ability to multi-task with outstanding follow-up skills

·        Ability to prioritize tasks while paying close attention to detail

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proofread documents

·        Prepare proposals in response to RFPs/RFQs

·        Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe and NetDocs, as well as iTimeKeep or similar time-entry software

·        Team player
