Commercial Real Estate Title Examiner
McMichael & Gray, PC is seeking a title examiner/abstractor with at least five (5) years of experience examining title for large acreage/assemblage transactions. In addition to experience, the ideal applicant will be extremely detail-oriented, and will have outstanding organizational skills and the ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. The applicant must have the ability to professionally communicate with internal clients, work both independently and as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service. We offer a competitive benefits package and salary is dependent upon experience. We are currently seeking candidates for our Lawrenceville or Peachtree Corners office. This is not a remote-work position.
- Complete Georgia Commercial Title Searches. Possibly other states, including AL/SC/TN
- Navigate county web sites to obtain tax information, deeds, plats, etc.
- Review & mark up of grantor/grantee indexes
- Ability to review and analyze surveys
- Research liens and judgments
- Tract plot metes & bounds legal descriptions
- Ability to travel to metro-area courthouses as needed
