The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in interior design or a related field. The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for managing design projects and leading design teams, performing design work, participating in design control of projects, and is responsible for managing the project budget.

A Day in the Life as a Senior Interior Designer : this person will be an active contributor in all phases of the design process, managing projects, implementing design excellence, and providing quality design research and outputs. Here is a list of other responsibilities related to your role as Senior Interior Designer :
- Lead and manage interior design projects in all phases of the design process, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
- Create project proposals, manage design budgets throughout the life of a project, and organize project staffing.
- Coordinate and review consultant drawings for adherence to design vision and constructability.
- Select and present furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and decorative lighting.
- Perform field verification of existing spaces and documentation as needed.
- Support business development activities as necessary
- Mentor design team members and foster a culture of growth and design thinking
- Meet with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
Support all market sectors in design and documentation of various project types. Requirements About You : The qualifications of a Senior Interior Designer are multi-faceted. The ability to lead design projects, and teams, effectively and confidently, to prioritize and execute tasks with many competing priorities, and absorb new ideas and concepts quickly is a key skill for the Senior Interior Designer.
