McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture is a studio-based, client-focused and community-oriented firm founded in 1955. We are searching for a talented recruiter to join the MPS team!
- Facilitate the full-cycle recruitment process - from job posting through onboarding.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Senior Manager to work directly with practice and hiring managers, define hiring criteria and create associated job postings.
- Determine the position responsibilities, as well as the experience and abilities, the ideal candidate will possess.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to recruit early career candidates.
- Manage early talent recruitment including summer interns, student co-ops, and recent graduate hires.
- Attend and assist with the planning and execution of college career fairs.
- Identify and recruit top talent by networking and building strong relationships via community outreach efforts, college partnerships, relevant websites, etc. in the market to build pipelines.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to create travel plans and studio visits/interview scheduling with candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of full cycle recruitment experience.
- Proven experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in cross functional team environment.
- Must be assertive, take initiative, and be a proactive change agent.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and be flexible to changing workflow and demands.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with many competing priorities effectively and confidently.
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
The Following Skills Would be an Added Bonus:
- Talent acquisition in professional services or the architectural, engineering, or construction industry
- Proficiency utilizing a variety of sourcing tools i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Maintain knowledge of OFCCP requirements and general fair hiring practices.
