McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Construction Project Equipment Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage DOT driver files, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Oversee and update TENNA equipment inspection software to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for equipment, including transfers, deliveries, and scheduling.
- Input and manage purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Procure heavy equipment parts as needed, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisitions.
- Assist in scheduling mechanics for equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Foster strong working relationships with project teams, providing timely communication and support.
- Prepare and assist with monthly equipment-related reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive and cooperative attitude.
- Open to receiving direction and responsive to the needs of the equipment management team.
- Demonstrates punctuality, regular attendance, and reliability in alignment with company work hours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other applicable software.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest Central regions.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience in construction equipment management, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
Compensation Package:
- Pay Range: DOE
