We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene.
- Administer catheter care and tube feeding as required.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff.
- Assist in acute care settings by performing necessary medical procedures under supervision.
- Support home community care initiatives by providing compassionate care to seniors in their residences.
- Participate in training sessions and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, or assisted living facility is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care protocols, medical documentation practices, and acute care procedures.
- Skills in catheter care, tube feeding, and other essential medical techniques are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
