RESPONSIBILITIES
· Structural Design of building components.
· Prepare construction drawings and specifications.
· Work under the direction of experienced senior engineers as part of a team.
· Prepare project calculations for concrete, structural steel, timber, and masonry.
· Be challenged with solving interesting engineering problems.
· Communicate ideas with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with 0 years of structural design experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with 2 years of structural design experience in buildings
· 0-5 years of structural design experience.
· Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required
· Demonstrable knowledge of concrete and steel.
· Familiarity with structural engineering software; for example, RISA-3D® or Enercalc
· Working knowledge of Revit® and AutoCAD® software
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
· Ability to work on federal contracts requiring US Citizenship preferred
