McNamara Pet Services is a professional pet sitting and dog walking business providing top quality and responsible care to pet families in Trumbull and Easton.

Requirements:

• Dedicated animal lover
• Enjoy spending time outdoors - we are our rain, snow or shine!
• At least 18 years old
• Pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver's license - you will drive from house to house throughout your shift
• Reliable transportation (your own car) with valid insurance
• Be dependable and punctual
• Have availability at least three days between Monday-Thursday 7:30a-4p
• Ability to follow rules, safety protocols and pay attention to detail
• Have a smart phone to download work portal app, gps, and communicate via slack
• Be a consistent communicator. Must reply to emails, slack and portal messages promptly and efficiently. Complete visit report card entries at the end of every single visit via smartphone app.
• Ability to care for, handle, walk and restrain non-aggressive dogs of all different breeds and sizes.
• Physically able to walk dogs for 60 minutes at a time, climb stairs, bend down, and kneel
• Sign a non-compete/non-solicit agreement
• Have another source of income as this job does not guarantee any hours and is meant to be supplemental income - great for stay home parents while kids are in school, retirees, local college students (SHU, Houstonic, etc) and anyone looking to have supplemental income.
• Available to work within our service area of Trumbull, and Easton - best if you live in Trumbull, Easton or a close surrounding town (Monroe, Fairfield, Shelton, Stratford, Bridgeport)
• A LOVE of dogs, cats, and other furry friends and prior experience in the pet care field is a big plus but not required as we do extensive training on care.
