What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician/Mechanic position at McNeill Chevrolet?
We are seeking an experienced automotive technician who wants to grow their career financially and professionally while working in a positive customer-focused environment. We're looking for someone with experience and knowledge in mechanic repair, maintenance, diagnosing issues, brake issues, suspension issues, AC and light electrical, and more. Experience in a dealership or repair shop is required. No nights or weekends and additional training is offered as well as opportunities for advancement. Pay based on experience and ability. Must be able to perform inspection of customer's vehicle for potential issues, diagnose & repair the recommended issues.

Qualifications
- Must have mechanical and technical aptitude
- 1-3 years experience in an automotive repair or dealership
- Do not have to be a certified GM technician, but some completed training is highly preferred
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
- Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
