Corporate Director of Revenue will provide supportive, inspiring leadership to our team of centralized, seasoned revenue managers including mentoring and departmental succession planning to ensure talent development for RM discipline.
This position is a key player in a company's financial strategy and execution.
The main responsibility is to oversee and optimize the revenue generation processes across a portfolio of hotels.
This position will create and execute revenue optimization strategies, utilizing market insights and data analytics to drive decision-making and grow market share.
Monitor trends, competitor pricing and all performance activities to identify new opportunities for revenue growth.
Work on pricing models, discount structures, and brand promotions to maximize revenue while maintaining profitability.
Systems management and optimization.
This role monitors key performance indicators (KPls) related to revenue generation. This includes metrics like transient booking conversion rates, revenue per room, lead time, length of stay, booking patterns, demand metrics, etc. By tracking these metrics, he/she can assess the effectiveness of revenue strategies and make data driven decisions to drive business growth.
Collaborate seamlessly with sales, marketing, and finance teams, forging cohesive strategies that capitalize on market opportunities and enhance our competitive advantage.
Ensure revenue goals are not just met for the assigned portfolio, but exceeded with a laser focus on efficiency and ROI.
Essential Functions:
Strategic Revenue Driver: Proven ability to increase revenue significantly.
Efficiency Champion: Expert in implementing processes to drive efficiency allowing time for implementation of strategic vision.
Booking Conversion Specialist: Achieves significant improvements in overall booking conversion rate and revenue growth.
Precision Forecaster: Enhances accuracy in revenue forecasting.
In this role, you will:
- Drive initiatives to expand revenue streams and explore new revenue opportunities.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on revenue-related matters, and report to senior leaders and owners on all data metrics regarding revenue for the portfolio.
- Drive continuous improvement in revenue processes and systems.
- Foster a culture of accountability and performance excellence within the revenue operations team of the assigned portfolio.
- Analyze booking data and trends for the portfolio to identify opportunities for revenue optimization.
- Oversee pricing strategies, revenue forecasting and budgeting.
- Lead training of revenue management tools and technologies for the portfolio.
- Identify and address revenue leakage and inefficiencies and correct quickly.
- Establish and enhance relationships with all key stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure brand compliance.
- Travel to portfolio hotels or the corporate office at a minimum of once a quarter. Other travel maybe to conferences, ownership meetings, and properties as needed.
