We have an opportunity for Customer Service Specialist for business credit and payment processing to join our team. This position is responsible for contacting customers to obtain payment of past due items, assist the sales branches by performing various credit related tasks in addition to responding to incoming customer inquiries pertaining to their monthly statement, dunning letter or other communications.
This position is based at our corporate office which is centrally located at Rocky Point, overlooking the beautiful waters of Tampa Bay.
Key Responsibilities :
- Use system reports to determine customer follow ups needed
- Contact business accounts to obtain payment
- Track and notate all customer service activity
- Assist incoming calls from department hot line
- Obtain trade references and upload documents
- Review and respond to credit rejected orders
- Work as a liaison between Sales and Credit Team to facilitate the release of customer orders
- Research disputed invoices and charges as needed
