We have an opportunity for Fabrication Team Lead to join our team. The Fabrication Team Leader is responsible for team building, mentoring, fabrication, blueprint reading, and scheduling work orders.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate fabrication schedules for small warehouse team to ensure work orders meet shipment dates
- Perform in process and final inspection on orders to maintain quality standards
- Prepare and process all paperwork necessary to complete orders
- Assist with welding, sawing, cutting, and shearing materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop, and design drawings
- Safely operate forklifts and /or cranes to move material as required
- Ensure proper shop supplies are ordered and maintained
- Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years in a position coordinating and directing team efforts.
- 3-5 years of solid fabrication experience (welding, shearing, sawing and cutting).
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a production oriented environment and perform against established performance standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and multi task.
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
