Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living space for clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, accommodating dietary restrictions as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Engage clients in activities that promote physical and mental well-being, particularly those with developmental disabilities or hospice care needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or as a Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and understand basic health monitoring techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
