Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mower to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely manuever the tractor and rotary mower on various outdoor spaces by adjusting cutting heights to ensure a consistent neat finish while adhering to safety protocols. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in landscape maintenance.
Duties
- Safely operate a rotary mower to cut grass according to established mowing patterns and heights on assigned areas.
- Navigate around obstacles and tight spaces while maintaining a clean cut.
- Regularly check mower blades for sharpness and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Prefer farming/tractor experience. Will train the right person.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of work are met.
