What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at McPherson Family Eye Care?
We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person to join our team. The ability to multi-task and provide excellent customer service is necessary. The applicant must be professional in attitude and appearance with the willingness to be part of a team in a medical setting. Computer skills are a must and previous experience as an ophthalmic technician is required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Patient testing
- Accurate data entry
- Communicating with patients and other providers via email and telephone
- Follow through with patients and providers
The position is for approximately 40 hrs per week including some Saturday hours. Customer service is our priority, so a great personality is a must. Please forward your resume and cover letter for consideration.
Requirements:
- At least one year of previous Eye Care Technician experience
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Must be available to work on Saturdays
